Alloy wheel styles. Road tyre choices.

Everyday road comfort. Weekend plans considered.

Start with how often your Forester leaves sealed roads. An all-wheel-drive badge does not automatically make an all-terrain tyre the right choice for your routine. If most of your kilometres are on the road, we can discuss road-focused options and the qualities you value, then consider occasional gravel use as part of the same conversation.

Wheels + tyres + local fitting

A Forester package with the whole set in mind

Replacing tyres on the original wheels is a useful place to start if you like the existing ride and appearance. For an alloy upgrade, tell us the finish you prefer and whether you want to retain a similar look. We assess the proposed wheel and tyre combination together, including the tyres already fitted if you are replacing fewer than a full set.

Check the generation, drivetrain and existing tyresThe Forester range includes multiple generations and petrol, earlier e-Boxer and newer hybrid versions. Subaru’s all-wheel-drive system makes it especially useful to discuss the complete tyre setup when planning replacements. Share your year, grade, current tyre model and size, along with any suspension changes. We check the relevant vehicle requirements rather than assuming a package from another Forester is interchangeable. If you are unsure of the generation, a photo of the tyre placard and your vehicle details will help.

    Before you upgrade

    Forester questions,
    answered.

Does my Forester need all-terrain tyres because it has AWD?

Not automatically. Describe the roads you use and how frequently you drive on gravel. We can discuss road tyre options for everyday use and consider alternatives if your trips warrant them. The final choice also needs to meet your Forester’s fitment requirements.

Can you quote one replacement Forester tyre?

Yes, but provide the tyre size, brand and model and let us assess the condition of the remaining set. For an AWD vehicle, the replacement decision should consider the manufacturer’s guidance and the existing tyres together, rather than size alone.

Can you help with both older and newer Forester hybrids?

Tell us the model year and grade so we can distinguish the earlier e-Boxer versions from the newer hybrid generation. We will check the relevant wheel and tyre requirements before comparing suitable options and preparing your quote.

Can I change my Forester’s wheels without changing its character?

Ask us about designs that suit the appearance you want while keeping your everyday priorities in view. We can discuss retaining a similar wheel diameter and assess compatible options, rather than beginning with the assumption that a larger wheel is necessary.
